Gluten Free Finds during Social Distancing

It has been close to two full months since we have been socially distant due to Covid-19. What do we all seek when we are stuck at home with limited activities and plans? Food of course. It makes us happy and gives us something to do until, well, the next meal comes around.

Here are a quick list of Gluten Free Foods that can be found in the grocery store(s) or ordered online of some of my favorites that I don’t have to make myself from scratch.

In no particular order-

Breads:

Schar ciabatta bread- it’s soft, it’s airy and holds together!

Canyon Bakehouse Hawaiian sweet bread- it makes a great sandwich or french toast.

Frozen Foods:

Applegate chicken nuggets and tenders- great in a pinch.

Ore-Ida tater tots- because who doesn’t like tots?

Feel Good Foods chicken egg rolls- they hit the spot for Chinese take out without the take out!

Feel Good Foods chicken potstickers- yum is all I can say!

Snacks:

Cheetos- who knew these were gluten free?

Bare apple chips- because I still want something crunchy but should have some fruit.

Gerbs pitted dates- just bought these on a whim recently and they are so good!

Desserts/ Treats:

Mi-Del ginger snaps- I just can’t get enough of these and buy them a few bags at a time!

Home Free cookies- all flavors are yummy. They’re small and crunchy but also hit that sweet tooth craving.

YumEarth organic licorice- it’s like eating better for you Twizzlers and very addicting.

Kinnickinnick vanilla wafers- they taste just like the classic nilla wafers without the gluten.

Drinks:

IBC cream soda- nostalgic foods and drink are high on my radar lately and this hits the criteria and also delicious just don’t look at the amount of sugar it has!

Main Root spice ginger brew- it’s a great spicy version of natural ginger ale that is addicting.

This is the list folks. It’s what has been getting me through the social distancing at the moment and I hope it will help you mix it up a bit in a safe way!
