Time to make the Donuts!

One of the many things I miss since my daughter was diagnosed with a life threatening peanut and tree nut allergy is donuts. There’s just something about them that makes me smile and most bakeries that carry them have so much cross contamination that it’s not worth risking her safety to venture into one never mind ordering something.

I found the cutest mini donut pans at Bed, Bath, & Beyond and went to work finding a great cake donut that wasn’t fried. Again- Allergylicious had a great baked donut recipe and I could not get enough. The double chocolate ones were both delicious and had great texture! I am very much about the texture of what each baked good should be compared to the original- and these hit the nail on the head.

I had a bit of an issue with how much batter to put in the donut pans but besides them looking a little lopsided they still tasted phenomenal.

They are top eight allergen free and vegan and were quickly devoured by myself, my family, and friends! They all agreed they were so good that I needed to bake more immediately. This recipe was so good I’m thinking of venturing into other flavors. Which flavors would you love to see? Let me know!
